Okay before I get started I have one question. What does it mean when your rain gear says it's breathable? I think it means it makes you sweat profusely from the inside, you see when I paid all this extra money for "breathable" stupid me thought that I might feel a little coolness or airflow through the "breathable" vents. Enough of that.
We had a great day, a little stormy looking when we left but miraculously we made it all day except for the last 5 miles without hitting a torrential downpour. God is good. We met a real nice family at lunch time in chiefland than got on the nature coast trail system where we met George Bowen (thank you george) a real nice guy who is training to go cross country in the spring.
We are spending the night in Cross City and are contemplating our route for tomorrow, we are a little worried about the head winds ( which really shouldn't be that bad as long as Jerry goes first).
Please pray for us tomorrow it will be a long day ( about 87 miles) but if the winds are to nasty we might stop a little sooner. Jerry says Hi, and wants every to say Hi to Patti because she is lonely without him. Well that's it until tomorrow.
